Andrew Accardi was a student at Villanova University, he passed away at the age of 20, after a long battle with Neuroblastoma and Leukemia. Andrew developed is charity , Andrew's Army, in 2007. Andrew's efforts paid off when his charity raised one million dollars for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

His organization has contributed to medical breakthroughs in Neuroblastoma research. The women of Sigma desire to keep Andrew's dreams alive by helping fund more research to aid in the eventual development of a cure for all pediatric cancers.
Tri Sigma has held a mini golf tournament since 2015, teams are entered to win and all of the proceeds go towards Andrew's Army
